22w0d

18 more weeks to go, and then we can finally meet the little monkey that's been kicking me and using my bladder as a pillow.

Weight gain is up to 7 pounds now, and I just feel... big (although honestly, I'm not that big yet). It doesn't help that I am carrying mostly in the front. On one hand, I want the weight to be distributed, but on the other hand, I don't want a big huge a$$. I'm really afraid that when I'm 34 weeks, I'll have a big basketball in front of me.

Sleeping is getting more difficult now, but not because of positioning. I am VERY congested all the time (symptom of pregnancy). Luckily, I haven't had any back pain yet. My legs hurt as well after a long day (I'm sure doing the Quickstep and thigh exercises don't help.) I am also discovering hair on my body in unsightly places. (Gross.)

The good news is, I have finally stopped breaking out, and I don't have any stretch marks (yet). J's very active. The little bugger kicks and rolls at least a few times every hour. He's definitely NOT like his mom. I need a nap. Right now.

Expected date

I guess it help, first of all, to tell everyone that BabyJ is expected on February 25, 2007. Which makes mommy 22 weeks pregnant.

Edit: Actually Baby J's expected date of arrival is February 26, 2007. :) Mommy knows best!

First Post

Welcome to the BabyJ chronicles. We started this blog to document our first experience as parents. Hopefully, through this blog we can share some of the things that we have learned to our friends. It will also allow for us to look back on the entire experience later on and be reminded of the wonderful (and not so wonderful) times we have as parents. Enjoy!
